Why bada vs android

Multimedia capabilities can be enhanced through the market in case of Android but bada is not lagging behind and offers apps in its app store to enhance multimedia capabilities. However, Android is strong on Apps with its huge Android Market whereas Samsung is now only building up its Apps store. When Android was launched not so long ago, it arrived with just one phone and not too many apps. It is still early days to declare bada a winner but it still has a lot of potential and has done no harm to the reputation of Samsung.

The flip-side to this is again since Android is open-source, companies can do what they want with it. Bada however, all I have to say is wow! The music player on the Wave is very easy, full of features, and just a great joy to use. The sound quality is great as well. Bada currently has apps in the app store but the development interest for Bada is very very high which is a good thing. Bada is being developed by numerous developers around the world and Samsung has made sure that bada apps have quality! Samsung has also conducted bada developer days around the world so it will be quite interesting to see the OS grow! Samsung launched its Bada OS with the purpose of making smartphones as affordable as possible. Using Bada Samsung can extract the most out of even the most basic entry-level smartphones.

An indigenous smartphone OS helps the company have greater flexibility in creating smartphones phones at lower costs. Samsung has in fact stated this as their vision behind Bada OS — That of creating affordable smartphones that can help conventional feature phone users migrate into smartphones. OS companies such as Microsoft and Google have made alliances with multiple smartphone makers to gain market share, it is also important for smartphone makers to make models in different OSes to cater to varying User perceptions and demands.

On the negotiating table, these bargaining chips always add greater value to the company. Samsung must also be prepared for a hypothetical situation where Google may change its approach with Android. Google may decide to push its own hardware in the near future through Motorola post its acquisition in or Google may not release new Android versions for other manufacturers. Samsung must persist with Bada OS should such a hypothetical situation arise. With Bada, Samsung has made a good quality OS for the low cost smartphone, in comparison to the current crop of low cost Android smartphones that feature outdated, non-upgradeable OSes such as Android 2.

And coming to the main point bada os is over atleast that is what i read online at gsmarena. Samsung is not really concentrating on bada os it has windows 8 , android and a new os called tizen Android is so much better than bada. Look at the number of features it has.

Number of apps are just growing at the rates of nuts. Lastly i would say that android is the best. By mamta punia in forum Android Discussions.
