Nba 2k12 can i skip key games

You can quit the game and start over, and you can save it and come back, but you can't sim the game. Apparently they don't want you simming ahead a whole bunch. So either they don't want you to play an entire career, or else they want you to quit school, your job and ignore all of your family and friends for a video game.

At what point did video game manufacturers get it in their heads that people shouldn't be allowed to play their games in whatever way gives them maximum enjoyment?

From what i know you cant do the quit simulation method in 2k12 I think 2K removed it from this game cos i know you could do it in 2k I led the league in all star votes on my player mode 2 years in a row, so why do i not start in the all star game?

If your player is a starter then he will probably have to play 8 minutes in this one game and then stoppage of play will probably take the time spent in one game up to 9 minutes.

If you play all 82 games in a season, that will take the total time of a season up to about Sure, hours doesn't sound SO bad. However, if you are only using 5 minute quarters then your players stats are going to be nowhere near the stats of the superstars like Curry, Durant and James.

I know in real life also how to set up teammates, and I never try to make difficult contested shots. Also, I think it's just that I have to get used to the new play calling system, that seems a bit odd to me. Oh by the way, how are the other positions? It seems there are only two options, either play just key games or play every game. Can we pick and choose the games we want to play?

I dont see an option to simulate individual games anywhere. Am I missing something? Im having fun playing the mode, but Ive been playing the hell out of it over the past week and Im only 20 games in. I would love to be able to play one game every week of the schedule or something like that, because otherwise I may get burned out on this by the end of this season.
