What type font is facebook
One of my personal favorites is Aktiv Grotesk. Roboto is a grotesque open-source sans-serif typeface created in by Christian Robertson and promulgated by Google.
Roboto owns a dual existence. It has an automatic skeleton and is mainly geometric in its shapes. At the same time, friendly and open curves appear in the font. Roboto does not hazard, allowing letters to be settled into their natural width, whereas some grotesques deform their letterforms to force a rigid rhythm. In humanist and serif forms, this allows for a more normal reading rhythm more commonly found. The initial version of the DIN was introduced in and was designed for use in systematic and construction purposes such as traffic signs.
As it was created by an engineer rather than a designer, DIN is known for its intentionally unpolished and embryonic look. It uses Helvetica or Arial, or whatever your sans-serif default is. Lucida Grande, Tahoma, and Verdana are also identified by the style sheet. Lucida Grande is a sans-serif humanist font. It is best known for its deployment from to through the macOS user interface, as well as in other Apple apps such as Safari for Windows.
Tahoma is one of the Sans Serif family of Microsoft typefaces. It consists of two regular and bold Windows TrueType fonts and has been created to tackle the challenges of on-screen display, particularly in small dialog boxes and menus. The Verdana font family consists of four TrueType fonts developed specifically to overcome on-screen display challenges. Those are all the fonts that Facebook uses. In particular, FB fonts can only be adjusted with the aid of specific additions and Facebook font translators, or generators developed by other companies, which help to change online fonts to be copied and pasted into the FB field.

The font used for the text part of the logo remains the most popular in the world and is one of the subspecies of the Klavika typeface.
The corporate palette also gained recognition — a blue background and white letters. These are similar free fonts to Facebook Font. The most commonly known Facebook Blue is the second one, 3b You can, of course, sample any color on the site simply by taking a screenshot of your browser and opening it in an image editor. Even MSPaint has an eyedropper tool these days. However, the logo font you can use to replicate it is the Pico Alphabet font, which is almost identical. It was created by Maniackers Designer, which you can find hosted on this site. Warning: the site is largely Japanese.
You can see a comparison between the two on that site, even. As for the display font on their site, you can see it — as well as logo guidelines and other brand management tips — on their brand assets page.
Some claim they have changed to the same Helvetica Neue that Facebook uses on iOS, but others disagree. You can always take a screenshot and use a program like What The Font to attempt to identify it yourself. Twitter specifies five colors — plus white — that they use throughout their site. You have the blue 55acee, the almost-black f33, and three grays, ccd6dd, f, and e1e8ed. Again, you can sample them yourself to confirm. One thing to note is that Twitter has specific rules for how they allow others to use their logo.
As you might expect, Google — makers of Android — use the font they put in Android as the standard sans serif font. That font is Roboto, specifically Roboto Medium for their various sign in buttons. Google provides the font, as well as tons of guidelines for how to use their buttons, font, and everything in their Developers section.
If you were paying attention to Google-related news last year, you may have noticed that Google changed their primary logo font back in September. They had a robust, thick font and logo, but they changed it to a vastly simplified version. Their reasoning, they say, is because stray pixels, serifs, and complicated forms can get muddy on small devices. Because so many people are using mobile devices and small screens these days, ranging from tablets to smart watches, they needed something crisp and clear.
The font they chose looks a lot like Futura , but Futura is actually a bit different. For one thing, Futura is based on perfect geometric shapes and right angles, while the new Google logo has a slanted e, among other things. The l is also a little shorter. You can see a direct comparison here. The font is a spin-off of their Product Sans font, which they use for all of their related properties.
This font also uses the double-storey a, presumably to avoid having a and other similar letters looking the same on small screens.
